Graco Lovin Hug Swing User Reviews
The Graco Lovin Hug Swing has received a rating of 3.5 out of 5 stars from users at amazon.com, toysrus.com and target.com. Reviews are overall very mixed and this swing has received an equal number of 5 and 1 star reviews.
On the positive side, those who rate the Graco Lovin Hug Swing favorably say they love the swing’s 6 different swing modes and 8 sound settings and say this is a great swing for getting even a fussy baby to relax. Babies love taking naps in this swing and several reviewers say they couldn’t have survived without this swing since it keeps baby calm for long periods allowing them to get things done. Users also like that this swing has a 5-point harness (like Bright Starts swings) and several recline positions and they say the swing is very cozy for baby.
Graco Lovin Hug Swing Negatives
Those who rate this baby swing negatively say it is one of the worst products Graco has ever put out. Almost half the reviewers on the review boards complain that their swing motor gave out after a few
days, weeks, or months. Many also say the motor is very loud when it does work (a problem on some of the Fisher Price Swings as well), and the swing seat feels very cheap and does not seem to be made of good quality.
From the online user reviews it does seem that you run a high risk of receiving a faulty product when you purchase this baby swing. However, if you are willing to take the chance, then those who have not had problems with the swing’s motor do appear very satisfied with this product. If you do decide to make this purchase just be sure to hold onto your receipt in case you need to replace the motor or exchange the swing.
