Maclaren Globetrotter Stroller User Reviews

This Maclaren stroller is a new release and only has a handful of online user reviews.  However, the Globetrotter is the same as the beloved Maclaren Volo stroller, except the Globetrotter has a reclining stroller seat.  So, check out our review of the Maclaren Volo to get an idea about what users will think of the Globetrotter and we will update this page as online reviews get posted.

So far the Maclaren Globetrotter has received a rating of 4 out of 5 stars from users at amazon.com and babyearth.com.

Users love how lightweight the Globetrotter is (only 10.5 lbs) and say they can steer this stroller with only one hand, even when loaded with a toddler.  The fold and unfold only take a second and the stroller has a compact umbrella fold with an automatic lock.  It will even stand on its own when folded.  This is the ideal stroller to take when traveling and one user even says it has no problem handling bumpy NYC sidewalks, even with its small wheels!  Users love that the stroller seat reclines and are thrilled that they get all the lightweight conveniences of an umbrella stroller with a reclining stroller seat.

Maclaren Globetrotter Negatives

However, some reviewers don’t think the Globetrotter compares to the Maclaren Triumph or the Maclaren Techno strollers and would recommend these models over the Globetrotter.  They feel that the Triumph and the Techno are still extremely lightweight but aren’t quite as flimsy as the Globetrotter.  Some users also feel the seat on the Globetrotter is a bit too narrow for larger toddlers and while they appreciate that the seat can recline, they don’t feel the seat sits upright enough.  These users also don’t think the stroller seat offers enough support–but remember, this is an umbrella stroller.
